Hi, I'm an artist living and working in Ballycotton, a small fishing village in East Cork, Ireland.I work from a studio in the Shanagarry Design Centre in Shanagarry, where I also run regular painting classes.
Most of my inspiration comes from the world around me, be it people, flowers , birds or just the leaves rustling at my feet. I paint mainly in oils but like to use many mediums, including acrylic, watercolour, pastels and coloured pencil.
Living alongside the sea, much of my work includes the sea and surrounds in all it's many guises as well as the boats and men that earn their living from it.
As well as original paintings , I also produce limited edition giclee prints of many of my paintings. Printed on heavyweight textured watercolour paper, using the best archyval inks.
